Well - Sherry and Kim's wedding cam and went just fine thank you very much. MA & I played for the warm up music and then a nice lady - Beth Forrester sang and then we played to get people in and the bride in and out etc. All went well. Ann turned the lights down on us unexpectedly - but other than that I only went brain dead once - which is more than I can say for Dennis who twice (thankfully at the end of the service when the couple was not around) pronounced their names as Hugh and Kim (that is HIS first and middle names). Reception was nice - the groom's cake was dry but the icing was good. The reception hall was decorated wonderfully well.
The Sirmons came up to the cabin - had a great time. Ate supper - played video games - went sailing - normal day at the lake.

Well anyway - MA is off to the eye doctor - (run of doctor's visits lately). Mama Chinese for lunch and Sherry Gilchrest wedding rehearsal this evening - life in the fast lane. It appears there will not be a baseball strike - good for the Braves. Now let's see if Bobby Cox can win in the post season. There is a joke email going around with the following calculation in it - to support a needy baseball player at MINIMUM salary - you would need to contribute $649.00 a DAY. Is there any wonder there is little sympathy for the players?

Mary Ann was off to the doctor today and then up to clean the cabin. I had lunch with the pastor. This is the day of the possible baseball strike with the Braves way ahead - sigh. Set up the background in the office building and tried it out with MA. Need a better thing to sit etc. on.
