Celebrated Grandparents day in church. Josh came down and surprised my mother. Ate lunch at Sharons with Josh. No Sunday Night Service - whooopppeeee - watching Aggasi play Sampris for the US Open Tennis title. Practiced with Gerita MA and Margaret for the revival at 5:30 - went well.

Saturday - September 7, 2002
Well, last night 5:15AM someone creamed our mailbox, neighbors mailbox, and then wonder of wonders, the neighbors COMPLETELY FULL trash dumpster. They had to be doing 60+ when they hit it. Anyway - got a new mailbox (saw Dennis outside hardware store) - put it up - and off to Atlanta. Went shopping after lunch at Arby's in Griffin. Back to the cabin for supper with Josh. Agassi beat Huwitt in tennis - two old guys in the final tomorrow of US open.

Friday - September 6, 2002
Worked in office all morning. Golf with Jim Hamlin - Pine Needles in afternoon. Quit at 4 PM and MA & I off to Providence Canyon by way of Supper at Mexican Restaurant in Americus. Sun was just going down as we walked the 3 mile trail.

Thursday - September 5, 2002
Choir was fun last night - supper was spaghetti. Crowd was slim but 1 new singer. Today was once again HOT HOT HOT. Got lots of inside work done. In office all day.

Played for the Happy Hearts at Hardison Baptist - filling in for Dennis who was supposed to do lunch and be the entertainment but was called out of town. Worked in the office in the morning till lunch and then afternoon. Went to Macon (Cokes) to get below picture etc. Supper at Arbys after not finding anything else to eat and getting hungry.

Monday - September 2, 2002
We came up to the Cabin last night (Sunday) and spent the night over into Monday (Labor Day). Played Smash Mario on the GameCube - actually beat Josh once whooooopppeeee. Went solo sailing on the M16 in the morning while MA and Josh worked on his resume. In the afternoon we came on back to get ready to go out to supper at the Kreffs.Their daughter Jana will be a great wife for somebody someday. After supper played music with the two older kids - Josh played 2 songs etc.

Nice cloudy Sunday Morning - cool as everything - feels like the lake in Minnesota. Great day so far. (as of 7:50).
Church went well - up to lake to spend night and celebrate Labor Day.
