Glacier National Park
And Home Again
June 10 - June 14, 2009
On the Road Again.
We kind of misplaced Idaho, but it's not very big up here.
Traveling On
And finally the west entrance, the one we aren't using.
And the one we actually need.
The evenings entertainment on the front lawn.
Glacier Park Lodge
And a quite proper lobby.
Animals
Dogs
And finally the
Let that be Your Last Battlefield
Dog.
And a sheep.
And a Black Bear
Plus a Grizzly Bear
Our first day we decided to ride to Canada on our own.
The hardest part is not riding off the road while looking at the scenery.
A monument just south of Canadian Border.
We made it in.
And then onward to Cardston Canada.
Now, can we get back in. The border is over Mary Ann's
shoulder.
Well we did, and then decided to ride Going to the Sun
Road.
And they were not finished plowing it.
The next day, we took the tour to the Prince of Wales Lodge
in Canada.
Our friendly border with Canada - note the straight cut line through the woods.
Want to bet there are a few motion sensors on this?
Prince of Wales Lodge
It has quite a view.
High Tea.
The big red bus.
And the really nice people on the tour.
Want to buy some Native American land just outside the
park?
And finally for a quick ride home.
Rolling, Rolling, Rolling
And one more time.
You really do see the strangest things on the freeway.
GEORGIA - Huzzaaaaaahhhhhhh
And one last unload of the motorcycle at home -
WHOOOPPEEEEEE!
