July 1 - 2 Fort Valley to Estes Park

This is a catch up day before the start of the our vacation to Colorado and Seattle. It is sort of THIS YEAR IN REVIEW etc. etc.
This picture was sort of the inspiration for the whole thing. This is my motorcycle (the red one) in front of Sloppy Joe's Bar in Key West Florida on April 14, 2007. I had this odd idea that it would be a GOOD THING to go as far from here as I could and stay in the US. Well, we intend to get close - Port Angeles WA which is the last big town on the upper left hand corner of the map of the US. Oh me oh my.
And this is where we wound
up.
The Port Angeles Washington Ferry to Victoria BC. Again oh me oh my. We've gone about as far as we can go.
ALMOST 3700 miles one way.
REVIEW OF KEY WEST TRIP
Right after Easter we took some time off to go to Key West. We stopped off to see Susie and Rick Bopp in Fort Meyers.

The grand canoe tour. Their house is to the left and invisible. But a REALLY nice shot of their boat hoist don't you think.
We spent the night and off we go to Key West.
